Siren of the Black Sea

An echoing voice rises from the murk
with a dismissing glance from you, I dissolved into my meager surroundings,
invisible to your eyes.
Like the leaves in autumn, acidulous tears of sheer sadness wish they could fall hoping to escape the prison that are my
eyes , which can only see you from far away.
Tears which are unnecessary for they have nowhere to fall on,
since I’ve become a ghost. a phantasm
The death of my heart came when our souls were separated in heaven and sent on their separate ways,
to suffer
The instant that happened I knew I missed you already.
My life here on this earth I have spent looking for my one and only and I know you are my match.
If anyone ever had a cause for existing, you, are why.
The only reason I inhale is to be able to say your name.
Erratic winds of discontent toss my misshapen heart.
Fleeing to the darkened bowels of my imagination,
I escape into the realm which I’ve created in desperate need.
Reality startles me out of the world that I live under.
Invisible arms pin me down and hold me back.
Vague little whispers tell me to follow my dreams and those are of you.
As I peek thru the veils of contempt I see your face floating, closer then farther;
within my grasp and in a second out of my reach.
Impaled hopes cruelly die around me in my crumbling world.
You’ve left me behind, alone, bowed down without you, clinging to hope, losing precious time.
Still I weep thru the desolate halls of the prison for the condemned
in disgust I roam in search for thee.
I can see the swirling judgments all around me.
Boggled thoughts…
Dark smug ate away at the surrounding light
Dark flames burned in the center of an extinct heart.
And now here I am holding the glittering key to my imprisoned heart,
won’t you hold it for me and render my freedom soon?
